Tropical deserts receives less than 25 cm of rainfall, because of this low yearly rainfall, desert are the driest places on Earth. Desert has plants such as, thorny shrubs. In the desert there animals such as, rats, lizards, snacks, and scorpions. There are 2 kind of desert hot desert and cold desert. Hot deserts caused by cool, sinking air masses.
